haste question

i am not very fluent with the english language so i need help understanding what

When making a full attack action, a hasted creature may make one extra attack with any weapon he is holding.

this means.

if i have 2 weapons is it 2 more attacks (one with each hand)?
or 1 attack no matter how many weapons i am holding?

It means: 1 attack no matter how many weapons you are holding.

But the attack is with your best attack bonus, which is nice.

So what would happen if the OP put the Speed property on both his weapons? Does this grant 1 extra attack with each? Would they stack? (since haste and speed dont' stack) I'm just curious, but the OP may want this as an option when he can afford the enchant if they do.

What's that? Don't be a wuss and answer the question? Fine. If I was GM I'd invoke the "no stacking" rule and say 1 attack. After all the "speed" effect is actually effecting the character.

Edit: Hm... I originally thought two Speed weapons would stack, but after thinking about it, I am less sure.

Actually, I'd say that the rule is pretty clear that a weapon with the Speed property does not stack with Haste. It says so right in Haste's spell description. And Speed's feat description too!

This effect is not cumulative with similar effects, such as that provided by a weapon of speed...
