Help create an Artifact - MY PLAYERS KEEP OUT!!!!

In my campaign, there are 6 shards of various types. Each shard was given to a different Caller Tribe. Each stone has two different aspects:

The garnet stone of Anger and Temperance

The amethyst stone of Lust and Prudence

The amber stone of Sloth and Fortitude

The opal stone of Gluttony and Hope

The saphire stone of Pride and Faith

The emerald stone of Greed and Charity

The diamond stone of Envy and Justice


The one i need to focus on now is the Saphire Stone. What are some of your ideas?

bless like effect for "pride"; emits constant +2 Morale attack bonus to all within fifty feet.

maybe a constant Zone of Truth can surround the stone, too.

Hmmmm, mights I suggest something....

The stones are connected through their grievances. Any two stones so aligned that are brought together cause additional grief, more than they would have individually.

Saphire Stone of Pride and Faith
Pride: All who hold the stone must succeed a Will saving throw against a DC of 22 or become so filled with Pride, that they cannot flee or leave combat. They must roll this saving throw once every day and once they fail, they are automatically affected when ever they hold the Stone.
Faith: All within 60 feet. of the stone are affected by incredible faith in themselves and their abilities. They gain a +5 modifier to all Will saving throws and the benefit of Bless

Then, the positive effects of wearing the stone is increased when it is worn together with a concordant stone, yet if it is worn in unison with an opposing stone, its negative effect is increased.

iin case you all havent figured out, each stone has a virtue and vice. If you are of evil, the vices tempt you. If you are good, the virtues help you
 

If these are Artifacts in power then lets see....I assume Pride should be some sort of negative effect while Faith is a positive.

Faith:
+x (insert appropriate power level here) effective caster level for Divine Casters.

The ability to Turn Undead (or similarily utilize Divine Feats), as a Divine Caster.-For instance, the Faith aspect of the Sapphire would allow access to a laundry list of divine feats, and allow a certain number of total uses per day based on what a typical cleric of the users level would have.

Access to a list of Divine Spells with #/day castings

Permanent aura of sanctuary

Divine AC bonus

Wisdom Bonus

Pride:
Charisma Penalty

Must be the first to do X-this is like a curse, more a RP penalty than a real negative. Link with overconfidance (based on pride). For instance, he must be the first one through the door and to hell with planning the assault I can handle it....I really don't know how else to describe what I am getting at.

AC penalty (ha ha you can't hit me), your attack is no match for me.

Will Save penalty

hehe, I forgot that the item was an Artifact, not merely a normal magical item. But I still think the idea with concordant / discordant items should be sound amongst them. Some vices will most probably react rather poorly once connected, whereas some virtues enforce eachother.
The attempted list below is about the discordant virtues, not sure if it helps though :)
 

Hrm, are you aiming for each of these to be a major artifact, or each gem to be a lesser artifact which combine or similar to make a major artifact?

Also, what range of levels is your group, or the range that you're planning on them to take in questing for the stones?
 

they are minor artifacts. When combined, they have the ability to unravel all of creation and reweave it to the holders desire.

The entire campaign is centered around the stones
