I've been Disintigrated by a Beholder... what happened to my equipment?

I'm looking for the Official ruling here... as far as I can tell its fine since "I" was the first target of the spell and since I didn't roll a 1 on the save my goods hit the floor like Old Ben Kanobis robe, right?

If you are disintegrated, all your items survive. (Unless you roll a natural 1 on your save, in which case one item is affected.) This is in the FAQ.

Ahm, I hope your PC wasn't wildshaped or polymorphed into some monster that can't use equipment and thus all the stuff was melded into that form. It could imply that the equipment was also destroyed.

Or exist some rules for that case, too? I'd like to see them, because my druid was disintegrated while wildshaped and the DM said that the equipment was lost forever

As they stated, as long as you weren't polymorphed, your equipment should be laying where you were in a pile. There should be a bit of dust on it as well.
