Help Requested - SEP Website Woes

Hey All

If any of you have attempted to check out the SEP website recently, you will have seen that our domain has expired. Our website had been hosted by a kind individual in respect for work I had done to help him out. That individual no longer owns the server on which the website was hosted, and this became apparent with the disappearance of the website yesterday. Right now, the SEP website is without a home, that means our demos are also without a home.

Well, we’re going to need to find the site a home. I’d appreciate it if anyone could offer suggestions as to possible hosts. SEP isn’t very big right now, so we’re on a very tight budget. I’m hoping a cheap solution to the problem doesn’t translate into a shoddy or unstable solution.

This is also going to affect the Sword’s Edge E-Zine, also hosted by the same individual.

So, if you have any ideas, let me know. Right now, our only web presence is at RPG Now.

Fraser - take a serious look at HostM.com -- it's cheap and reliable.

Personally, I've gone with Lunarpages.com for Planewalker.com, and haven't had a single complaint. Starts at $8/month.

If you are looking for even lower, freeservers.com isn't bad. (Used them a bit a coupld years ago, so I can't personally vouch for them). If you don't mind ads, it's free. If you don't want ads it's $2/month, and both plans allow for domain names.

Wow. Thanks everyone for all the great ideas. I'm amazed at how quickly you all popped in with suggestions. I went from wandering aimlessly on the internet to having some specific hosts to look at. I feel much more optimistic now than I did this morning.
