Nopex it's a D&D thing, James Wyatt introduced Mythic Monster stat blocks in Mythic Odesseys of Theros and has used it a few times since: basically a method fo getting a Boss Monster by having multioeo stat blocks that the Monster transforms into after losing all HP.
Oh ok cool! I hadn’t noticed that before. Sounds like a fun mechanic to make combat more interesting.

For fun a bit of lore on an notable group covered in the Bestiary, the Dragonflights

The Dragonflights were formed many millennia ago when the Titans came to order the world of Azeroth. Part of them involved placing their servitors the Titan Keepers around the world to manage things, but the Titans decided they also wanted some natives of the world to assist in it's protection, and believed the apex beings the dragons were the best fit for this. The proto-dragons as they are now known had quite a different appearance than current ones. Five great and influential proto-dragons accepted the Titans' offer and were empowered and changed by them along with their followers the five main ones becoming known as the Dragon Aspects

The Red Dragonflight
“This is my gift: compassion for all living things. A drive to protect and nurture them. And the ability to heal that which others cannot, birth what others may not, and love even the unlovable--who surely need such grace more than any other souls."
Blessing of Eonar
The Reds are ruled by Alexstrasza the Life-Binder and are tasked with nurturing life. Despite their views with seeing life as sacred, they would not hesitate to fight against and kill those who would threaten the lives of others. In particular they viewed the Black Dragonflight and Burning Legion as enemies for their cruel and profane ways.

The Blue Dragonflight
“I believe that you will find that my gift to you is not just a profound duty—which it is—but also a delight—which it is! Magic must be regulated, managed, and controlled. But it must also be appreciated and valued and not hoarded. Such is the contradiction you must deal with. May you be dutiful ... and joyous both.”
Blessing of Norgannon
The Blues were ruled by Malygos the Spell-Weaver and are tasked with watching over the flow of the Arcane in the world. The Blues were nearly wiped out by the Black Dragonflight early in it's existence which sent Malygos into a depression. While the flight recovered Malygos remained in a stupor until the present and when he was roused out of it was enraged by what he saw as the overuse of magic in the world, and tried to wipe out or subjugate all other magic users on Azeroth. Many opposed him which resulted in his death. He has since been replaced by Kalecgos the Steward of Magic as the Aspect of the Blue Dragonflight.

The Green Dragonflight
“You are bound to the waking Dream of Creation. Nature is your realm, and all things have caught glimpses of the Emerald Dream when they sleep. You see them all, Ysera. And they see you, though they may not know it. Like the Life-Binder, you touch all living beings, and sing to them the songs of creation and interconnectedness.”
Blessing of Eonar
The Greens were ruled by Ysera the Dreamer and are tasked with watching over the natural world, and protecting the Emerald Dream a pristine realm of nature of magic that served as a spirit realm that represented what the world would be like if intelligent creatures had not altered it. Beings can go to the Emerald Dream by sleeping and Ysera spends all of her time. An evil force known as the Emerald Nightmare later infected the Dream, resulting in more Green Dragons needing to go to fight it off. Many of the Green Dragons were corrupted by the Nightmare and became hostile beings as a result. Ysera eventually died in battle with the Nightmare and was eventually replaced by her daughter Merithra of the Dream as the new Aspect.

The Bronze Dragonflight
“Unto you is charged the great task of keeping the purity of time. Know that there is only one true timeline, though there are those who would have it otherwise. You must protect it. Without the truth of time as it is meant to unfold, more will be lost than you can possibly imagine. The fabric of reality will unravel. It is a heavy task--the base of all tasks of this world, for nothing can transpire without time.”
Blessing of Aman'Thul
Ruled by Nozdormu the Timeless One and are tasked with ensuring time maintains it's proper flow. They are generally detached unless they need help. Their primary foes are the Infinite Dragonflight a group of Bronze Dragons who rebelled and desire to change the timeline, the leader of the Infinites is Murozond a future version of Nozdormu. Nozdormu hopes to avoid becoming Murozond, but does not know if it is possible.

The Black Dragonflight
“My blessing upon you will seem humble compared to those which have been bestowed upon the others: the managing of time, of life, of dreams and magic. I offer you the earth. The soil, the ground, the deep places. But know that the earth is the basis of all things. It is where we are rooted. Where you must come from, if you are to go to. Here is whence true strength comes. From deep places...within the world, and within oneself.”
Blessing of Khaz'goroth
They were ruled by Neltharion the Earth-Warder and tasked with protecting the deep places of the world, and given control of it with the ability to alter the terrain. Many used this ability to reduce conflict between the species of the world by raising mountains and ensuring more separation between them. However Neltharion as the being closest to the earth was exposed to the whispers of the Old Gods imprisoned within it. They played on his ambitions and drove him to madness over time the corruption of Neltharion spread to the rest of his Flight and they made a grand betrayal of the other Dragonflights. Neltharion over time became known instead as Deathwing the Destoryer and he and his flight became sowers of discord and chaos across the world, seeking destruction rather than protection. Deathwing was eventually slain along with most of the Flight. The few surviving Black Dragons have managed to shake off the Old God's corruption and they are currently led by Ebyssian the new Earth-Warder.

The Black Dragons served as one of the main antagonist forces in WoW's original release though Onyxia, and Neferian Deathwing's eldest daughter and son.

Dunno. Do you want 'Felsworn Satyr' listed under 'F' (for Felsworn), or under 'S' (for Satyr') ? Similarly, would you want 'Adult Green Dragon' listed under 'A' (for Adult) or under 'D' (for Dragon) ?

--- EDIT ---

And if someone wants their 'Adult Green Dragon' listed under 'G' for 'Green', I don't want to read another single post from you, ever.
Being an old guy I really prefer "D" for dragons or "S" for satyr. Finding them in the current MM is a pain in the ass and feels like an affront to proper alphabetization. It also means you can't have useful species type subsections. But I'm an old guy so who knows, maybe this is fine.

That list is really tepid and I see they are sticking to their guns on humanoids having no stat blocks beyond utterly generic NPC types from the main book. Ergh.

I feel confident we'll see some fan-made Defias bandits and such pretty soon. Heck, I may start grinding them out here myself, once the book is out and I get a feel for which gaps offend me most.

What has being old got to do with anything? I have brown hair and I also prefer it that way. Maybe it’s a brown hair thing.

One of the Dungeon Tubers (apologies for forgetting which one) mentioned some of Arthas stats and I have to say I was a bit shocked his Armor Class was only 20....maybe his Armour is only for decoration.

Im hoping for raid mechanics but its a faint hope. I think thats beyond what most players probably want.

The joys of bounded accuracy.
