Inspired by all this talk of Heroes of the Far Realm and the Oozemaster build, which I now really, really want to see, what other heroes books would you like released and what do you think should go in them?

Heroes of the Far Realm could use an Alienist warlock (controller) build. Honestly, I'm down for heroes of every plane getting a book- and then getting as specific as Heroes of Brass (City of Brass), Heroes of Sigil, Heroes of Ravenloft, etc.

I think WotC could do a pretty cool line of Heroes of the Desert, Heroes of the Forest, Heroes of the Frostfell, and so on, emphasizing a cool mix of builds, themes, backgrounds and so on from each environment. Though I don't know if each environment could provide enough fodder for a whole hardback; the 3e environment books also had plenty of DM stuff in them. (4e is extremely prone to segregating player books from dm books.)

the cosmology includes the mortal world (fallen kingdoms and forgotten lands), the shadowfel, the feywild, the elemental chaos, the astral sea and the far plane. The most notable other geological feature is the underdark/fel/wild. So seeing a astral sea book is reasonable, i mean its the hometown for the divine power source. Far realms is on the cusp of being a possibility and pipe dream....alienist and oozemaster are great words, but you run out of archetypes alot faster and I can see how as a design team you might just avoid it due to not enough 'good' ideas. Underdark is reasonable book, and it sounds like there may be a menzobarren (sp) campaign book in the works that would either fill that space or be supported by it....

I can see astral sea and far realm, but not excited about anything more focused, as I think it will be hard to do something really new. But I do like th idea of new books coming out.

How about "Heroes of Shadow re-do"?

I want some more builds and more themes. But I am not really interested in any of the proposed here.

I'd quite like to see tier-specific books, not tied down to any realm.

A book focused on the heroic tier, full of setting-neutral themes like Dungeoneer and Bounty Hunter, more heroic tier equipment, and origin stories (as per the Feywild book). A book focused on the paragon tier, with more paragon path goodies. Then a book focused on the epic tier.

Epic destinies could have a complete overhaul, so they have a comparable in-game effect to themes.
