If you cast the cantrip that lets you automatically create a minor surge, and you get one of the results that say "Spell goes off at enhanced effectiveness" or "targets caster" or whatever...

... what spell effect occurs? Do you specify a spell you're "trying for", like Nahal's Reckless Dwoemer used to?

You should know that my wife is in the process of converting her Planescape Wild Mage to your rules, and we should be playing that campaign sometime this summer. Really enjoyed the book. Including the reference to "Hail of Inappropriate Objects."

Sorry, but I don't frequent this part of the boards much.

Um . . . if you use the cantrip and you get that effect, I'd say roll again, but whatever it does, it has an increased effect. *sheepish grin* I doubt this will have a huge impact on game balance.
