Maybe I'm missing something but assuming you didn't ally with the cloud giant and slew him how are you supposed to get off the crashing castle?

Oh, I get it. Instead of crashing with the castle, they all came down with the flu.

Rath Modar has scrolls of Feather Fall and Dimension Door; maybe that's what you're thinking of?

Unfortunately those are frozen on the corpse of a sorcerer who thought he could tangle with a white dragon.
Hoard was a intro get to know the rules campaign so ending with a crash is OK.

I tried to write fly. But now I believe it was a feather fall scroll.

Yeah Rath had a scroll of FF and Dimension Door. Normally though he is supposed to escape so I'm not sure those are there to help the players. Though in the game text it keeps saying he uses his fly spell when he doesn't have that spell.
