First Post
Why every race , if u follow the PHB, have the same crafting techiniques? i mean, why an elven bowcrafter, who has 800 years old use the same techiniques a Human bowcrafter os 20 years old......?

Im considering using diferent bonuses for diferent races qhen crafting masterwork weapons. here is what i have created so far:

Human masterwork weapon : Standard
Human masterwork armor : Standard

Dwarven Masterwork Armor : +1 AC / +5% weight
Dwarven masterwork Weapon: +1 Dam

Elven Masterwork Armor : -5% spell failure (light/medium armor)
Elven Masterwork armor : Naturaly keen (doesnt stack with keen ench for weapons)

Any suggestion or comment, i could use some..... i cant progress here....

The idea has some appeal, I'll admit.

However, giving the other non-human PC races special masterwork qualities without doing the same for humans will put the humans at a disadvantage, something the designers of 3e tried hard to avoid.

Also, the qualities you propose are fairly powerful, and I'm not sure they should be available as a non-magical quality.

I'd suggest instead, a "racial masterwork" quality at a DC of 10-15 higher than a normal masterwork, or giving certain races an XP discount on certain weapon enchantments.

For themes, how about:
Human: ability to learn one of the other race's techniques; armor and weapon can be split. DC is 5 higher.
Dwarf: Increased hardness and object HP
Elf: increased mobility in armor, +1 range increment for weapons (this means you can throw weapons you couldn't normally)
Halfling: Armor - no penalty to hide/move silent; weapons damage as full (medium) size instead of small.
Gnome:
