Bagel>condiments>cheese>bacon>lettuce (if available; not losing sleep over it)>tomato>bagel.

Edit: note that where I live, cheese is a standard ingredient. Probably because I live in British Columbia (BC) and so “BCLT” is just obvious marketing.

Bread (ideally sourdough) with mayonnaise, bacon, tomato, lettuce, bread with mayonnaise or a little dijon mustard or horseradish. Splash of tabasco or the nearest equivalent somewhere in there. But really the only concern is order of assembly is making sure there are barriers or fat between tomatoes and the bread.

Mayonnaise is an integral part of the flavor profile for me. More important than the lettuce, despite the dish's name.

But I don't have a BLT often, not because I don't like them but because nine times out of ten when I've gone to all the trouble of heating up bacon for a sandwich I'm also going to throw in some turkey and cheese and make it a proper club sandwich, the lord of all sandwiches.
