How is your Warcraft Campaign going?

So... lie on the couch and tell me all about it.

I am waiting for a few of the other books to emerge before starting a new campaign and was hoping that some have already experimented with the different classes. Any feedback on limitations of Healers vs. Clerics, class limitations and such would be welcome input to prepare for better game balance. And feel free to expound as much as you can about the differences between Warcraft and good ol' D&D.


Oh, I know of the forums over at Sword & Sorcery, but want some more perspective from the ENWorlders.

Same boat as you, waiting on the rest of the books.

One of my friends actually returned his book because he didn't think there was enough in the main book itself to justify the price or even start a solid campaign with

I think the price is worth the semi-provocative pictures of elves in it at least... I mean, uh, um... the material... yeah, the material is pretty good.... yeah, umm.... right.

I like the new core classes they have as well as the PrCs, which take up a full 1/4 of the book. If you don't play the game or follow the storyline closely, you may not care for the setting as much. I wish they had more specific maps of the world, but I understand they are reserving that for the future books.

I do wish it was in color though...ahem.
