How many dice do you carry?

None. We play on Discord. But when I play solo I use a set of different colour for each PC (orange fighter, blue wizard, yellow cleric and green thief) and a translucent red set for their adversaries.

Blue wizard needs food badly!

I bring one set of polyhedrals for every player, plus myself. And I bring a dozen D6.

My players often have their own dices, but I don't want a session to be slowed by people forgetting their dice.

Meanwhile, the Warhammer player:

"Is that all your minis?"
"No, those are still in the car. These are my d6s."

My All Rolled Up has two Holmes replica sets (Threshold Diceworks), two very easy to read sets of black dice with white numbers and skull on the high number (Black Oak), two Gamescience 7 dice sets, six "Vaesen" D6s, a couple of Elder Sign (twig) D6s, a couple of Yellow King D6s, and couple of spare D20 0-9 twice.

Then a couple of pens, a mechanical pencil, and a small pad of paper.

But I mostly play online.

I bring my main dice bag, which probably has about 100 or so dice? I don't think I've counted, but I have between 10-20 of all the main polyhedral shapes in that bag.

My standard load-out is: 2d20, percentile dice (d10 and a 'tens' d10), d12, 2d8, 3d6, 2d4, 4 Fate dice.

That tends to be good for the games I play commonly: 13th Age, Pathfinder, BRP (Call of Cthulhu), Fate, Gumshoe.

I need to change the loadout for Pendragon (9 d6s) or The One Ring (The special d12 and d6 dice are nice!).

I have a Blanton's bag with a standard dice set (4d6, 1D4, 1D8, 1D10, 1D20). I added a D10 and 3D20 to round out the set. Also I have a set of DCC dice which im not sure how many. I know it has D7, D14, D24, and something larger.

TL DR
Around 20 various dice.

For Battletech I have a big dice cup with a screw on cap. Its got around 216 various color matched D6's in it.

Carry? Usually none.

I've got boatloads of dice at home for when I DM.

If I'm a player in someone's game and it's consistently at their house, I'll dig up or buy a bunch of dice and just leave them there. That way I never have to worry about forgetting to bring dice. :)

I never got into the dice collecting habit so all of my dice fit easily into the dice bag I got when I backed Dolmenwood. Probably 3-4 dozen all up, many random colours though there is at least one set in there somewhere.
