Message: <blockquote data-quote="Skade" data-source="post: 1197561" data-attributes="member: 3320">Yeah, I've spent over a thousand dollars, including miniatures.  This is a small collection compared to my WW, and previous DnD editions.  The thing is, that it does not change how cheap the game really is.  Most of my players have never even owned the Players Handbook.  They share, or crib notes.  Those that do buy a book, usually buy one or two for the entire year.  I use very few of the books I own on a regular basis.  I take a few PrCs, a couple of creatures and an idea or two and I am done with it.  I simply enjoy reading and collecting them.I think aside from the core books I really only use the Relics and Rituals books from S&S regularly.  So the game is cheap to play, just expensive to collect.</blockquote>
