I was doodling with the Sakura pen today, so...

I remember when first taking Iaido (sword-drawing) classes, one person asked "what should I do if I am left-handed, should I reverse it?" and the instructor looked briefly puzzled and then said "you are not left-handed when doing Iaido". End of discussion.

I can see that conversation happening.

Print. It takes a lot of effort for me to have readable cursive.

Somehow in college I could take lecture notes (like history or whatnot) completely readably in print without my hand falling off.

I had a calligraphy kit in elementary (middle?) school.

My signature is completely illegible in cursive. My teen never learned cursive and so he has started using messy print as a signature.

Not great. I can read my own shorthand easily but have to put a little effort in if I need someone else to read it.
