D&D General I stand corrected... and what I learned from watching VLDL

I have a hard time with the actual plays more because of how long the episodes are. 4 hours a go, with the number of episodes is a lot. I can't listen while working because it's not background noise enough.

The VLDL stuff I watched was like, 30 minutes an ep, so might be worth checking out.

I'm an early riser and I walk everywhere, so long actual plays in podcast format works real well for me. I also rarely listen to music so my Spotify wrapped is often just a couple hours but my podcast app (which is like 80% what I listed already) says I did 47 days last year. I tend to watch some of CR and then finish the ep over a few days in podcast form. Dimension 20 is the only one I consistently just watch.

VLDL edits them to 30 minute episodes, which is another reason I like them over the 'dedicate an evening' length shows. They're filming a longer session (it seems like they do around 4 hours per session) but the show beaks it up into reasonably-sized bits with skits thrown in.

I enjoy VLDL far more than most D&D actual play podcasts, where I immediately pass if the description is a variation of "We are HI-LARIOUS!!" or "We Are SO DRUNK LUL!"
