I'm looking for a template - Diabolic (demonic)

Has anyone seen a non-WOTC template that essentially is the result of a character becoming a pawn of infernal powers.

Its a template I need to apply to character already in play so it needs to be an acquired template and not an inherited one.

Anyone know of such a template?

The Gates of Hell has two inherited templates (the marquis half-fiend and the nephilim) that are infernal in nature; you could simply alter these to acquired templates and muck with the flavor a bit. Another option would be to use one of the PrCs in that compilation:

I'd say the Devil-Bound template might be your best bet, though.

It wasn't a template, but a few years ago Dragon ran a article that featured gradual possession by a demon/devil/yugoloth via a corrupt PrC. Basically as you gained levels in the class you became more like what was possessing you, and less human.

Drat...Should be diabolic (demonic).

Still Demon-Possessed, Blood Knight or Unholy may serve the bill from Advanced Bestiary. Unless other suggestions exist now that I've got the right class of creatures identified.

I understand infernal (of the Hells) and diabolic (of devils) to mean the same thing: of or pertaining to a lawful evil outsider, right?

Personally, I think the best option is to either go with half-fiend (which, while not specifically devlish or demonic, is nicely rounded out in terms of abilities) or tack on levels of Acolyte of the Skin. In general, I think the acquisition of evil power is best done via a PrC than a template.
