The saddest thing in life is wasted talent...

This man had an opportunity to be a generational pass-rusher, had he made better choices for himself and his life. I can't imagine the demons that had plagued him, but it did seem like he was finally starting to turn things around. That stuff does have a way of catching up to you in the end, though...

Most of us are probably old enough to remember that series of Folger's commercials with Head.

Is that the..."Best Part of Waking Up, Is Folgers In Your Cup" commercial? I remember the Folger Crystals one. SNL did a great sketch...We've replaced their Folgers Crystals with SAND, let's see if they notice...

I got the coffee wrong, it was Taster's Choice. Starting in the very early 1990s, Taster's Choice ran a series of advertisements featuring a blooming romance between Anthony Head and an actress all over a cup of coffee. The ads were in a serial format and typically ended on some cliffhanger. It was a pretty successful ad campaign, and Taster's Choice would use that format with different actors through the early 2000s.
