Incantatrix - Multiple School Specialization and more ...

When a wizard transmuter (prohibited: evocation) becomes incantatrix and therefore an abjurer (prohibited: enchantment, for example), does he get ...

1A) two additional spells per day per spell level, one from transmutation and one from abjuration?

1B) the usual one additional spell per day per spell level, either from transmutation or abjuration?

What happens, if a sorcerer becomes incantatrix. Does he get...

2A) one additional spell slot per spell level, usable only for abjuration spells?

2B) one preparable spell slot per spell level, which can only be used with the Arcane Preparation feat and abjuration spells?

2C) no real advantage (except the mighty +2 to spellcraft checks) from the specialization?

My take on it was that you would get 1 additional spell per day selectable from two specialized schools.

If a sorceror became one, then they would get an extra slot per day usable only for abjuration plus they still have to choose a prohibited school. So if they don't know any abjuration of a certain level you use a lower spell...

After looking at the ability again it seems that a sorceror could opt not to become a specialist... then again maybe that's just flavor text :)

Sorcerror Incant....

I believe that they only need to pick an opposed school "to receive the benefits of specialization".

Now, as a sorcerror, I am not wasting my precious slots, so I did not choose to specialize.

I DO utilize the metamagic part of being the Incat....

Awesome class...

You have to specialize in Abjuration, when you become an Incantatrix! Thus, you have to choose one or more prohibited schools!

I think not

"A bard or Sorcerror who becomes an incantatrix must still choose a prohibited school to gain the benifits of specialization"

Page 32, 1st paragraph

Now, I forsake the "benifit" of specialization in abjuration, and concentrate on metamagic feats.
