I was talking elsewhere about foreign language content created for Classic D&D and got told there were two Hebrew adventures HCM1 (which apparently translates to "Lunar Women") and HCM2 (which apparently translates to "Living Statue War"). The adventures appear to not be set on Mystara (aka the Known World) but instead on a world that seems to translate as "Dream World".
While researching this, someone told me that there used to be a topic about this on the WotC forum for Mystara and a friend extracted the topic posts for me, which I have recreated on the live Internet here: [WotC][DreamWorld] Hebrew Mystara modules? (Hebrew speakers wanted).
It looks like most of the people who understood Hebrew were complaining about the monsters being silly and then getting off topic and talking about using Hebrew legends in D&D, but Echohawk popped in and asked about the HCM2 monsters, before people got off-topic again. (A monster in HCM1 has a name that sounds pretty vulgar when translated into English, but I think that with some poetic license a less offensive sounding English name would be possible. But as you can see from the WotC forum discussion, there was mostly annoyance about the stupid name.)
I am in touch with a few of the Mystara fans who were in that older discussion. I don't know if any of the Hebrew speakers are still around though. So if you were interested in trying to locate all the non-English D&D monsters, translate them into English and then convert them to 3e, I could try to see if I can find people who have these adventures.
But would that be a waste of my time? How complete do you want the Creature Catalogue Conversion Project to be? Do you think these are worth looking at?
