The collectors edition box set of Two Towers is in my hands, ugly little statue and all... Yay! Going off to watch now...

Sitting down to watch it now, but I noticed one cool thing... The little booklet that is in the case with the list of scenes and stuff... In the FotR set, it was high-gloss made to look like parchment. In TTT, it actually IS parchment, or a reasonable imitation thereof.

I just got mine, too, but I bought the Extended Version without the Collector's boxed set. Circuit City had it on sale for $24.99 today, so I'm one happy hobbit!

I bought it last night (well, early this morning) at Wal-Mart and went straight home to watch it. Lots of cool new scenes, and extended versions of scenes from the original.

I bought mine from Wal-Mart this morning as well. They hadn't even taken it out of the boxes to display yet, and seemed miffed that I was there to ask for one!

I can't wait to watch it...only 15 minutes left before I can leave work & go home & spend the next 223 minutes in Middle Earth...ahhh....

To anyone who have seen the TTT Collector's Gift, what does it contain besides the 4-disc Extended Edition set?

A statue of a naked anorexic midget holding a fish and a nicely boxed DVD simply called "Gollum"... I havn't watched it yet, though, so I don't know what it is... And in the "Gollum" box is a nice book (On really really really heavy paper) showing the making of golum.
