I'm really looking forward to it! Cypher is in my top two systems, and I'm currently running one fantasy game and one space game in it, so I'm hoping for plenty to use or drop in my games. MCG excels at the weird and distinctive, so I expect that, and I'm hoping it sets a balance between game stuff, flavor, and flexibility somewhere around Eyes of the Stone Thief levels. If it does that, it could be amazing.

I just thiught about this for the first time think the first true MegaDungeon that Monte Cook Games made was The Strange, and that was excellent. Instead of detracting from this I see it as proof that Cypher is a great system for this and that Monte Cook Games is able to manifest that potential. I eagerly want to see Vocurro, The Jewel In The Sky from the inside.

Things I like are the potential of inveigh, how this could cause a resource rush, and how technology and magic both exist as distinct things and and corrupt each other... That is awesome to consider as a meta for a setting.

I would say that Banewarrens, and to certain extent Ptolus, were the first mega dungeons by MCG crew. :)

Banewarrens made a big chunk of my multi-year campaign, especially since it comes with a great storyline.

That's not untrue, but those were conversions of Monte's existing, pre-MCG stuff. Jewel differs in that it's built from the ground up as a Cypher dungeon and will be published in its original form by MCG.
