This is news I would have posted this morning, had I not found myself trapped for more than two hours in my own bathroom (no, really!), but now I'm here, here goes.

Game Night, my roleplaying themed humour novel of six dysfunctional gods and their equally dysfunctional game, is now available, for $9.99 in the UK and £7.99 in the UK. Those of you who've read my webzine Critical Miss will already know my style of humour, and I can assure that it's pretty much the same in this novel. If you liked CM, you'll like this.

Either way, CM reader or not, you can see what kind of read it is with just one click, because I've put a free PDF preview of Chapter One up on my website:

Free PDF Chapter One Preview.

Please check it out, and feel free to pass the URL on to anyone who you think might like it. And if you do like what you read and want to buy the full novel, then please go to the main Game Night website:

...for links to both Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk (who currently appear to have discounted versions available at £6.91). For those of you in the UK, I am currently in discussions to get it into games shops.

For a bit more info, here's the blurb:

A ten-thousand-year quest is about to be completed. Prophecies will be fulfilled, ancient riddles answered, legendary evils bested, and the nature of the universe revealed. All that's needed is a band of mighty heroes to do the completing.

Unfortunately for the locals, some of the gods have taken a personal interest in the chronicle of these heroes' adventures. Now they are each guiding one of the characters towards the conclusion of their epic journey. That is, when they're not squabbling, backstabbing each other, blowing things up by accident, refusing to play by the rules, and turning the AllFather's creation into a mess of petty arguments, fantasy cliche, gratuitous combat and unnecessary dice-rolls.

If you thought your games group couldn't be any worse, Games Night shows just how bad things can get when a bunch of unruly deities decide they want to play. And may the heavens help us all.

Hope you all like it!
