Just saw the trailer for season 7 of "24"

Haven't seen the trailer yet (although I am confident it will play several times during tonight's World Series game, and tomorow, and Saturday...). The 24 trailers always look great, but the past couple of seasons I have lost some of my enthusiasm for the show. Each season seems to have pushed things more and more and I have had to work harder and harder to not just say, "That's just ridiculous!" and turn it off.
Maybe they will surprise me and dial things back to more like Season 1 where it was manipulation and conspiracy centered around the killing of one man, rather than doomsday plots.

Well, I hardly say who cares anout Heroes, but I'm looking forward the supposed new direction of 24. Last season was fairly predicatable (the least likely bad guy is the bad guy, not the most likely, who's really a good guy, CTC gets compromised, somebody is a spy or unwitting lackey, a regular cast member or two dies and Chloe helps Jack on the sly when he does something against CTC's wishes, which turns out to be the right thing to do after all). I'll admit the ending of last season was pretty unpredictable, if a bit dull (but then, I guess that's why it was unpredictable).
