Sharing this one because it's the kind of toolkit a lot of GMs have been asking after for years, and it's in the final stretch.
BILT Among the Stars (BATS) is a universal sci-fi RPG from Chuck Rice (Apocalyptic Games), built on the BILT system that powered 2015's Gold-selling AZ: After Zombies. Chuck has 26 years in the industry, three ENNIE nominations, and multiple Gold-Selling DTRPG titles including Blood and Space.
The pitch in plain terms: one system, every sci-fi campaign you've ever wanted to run.
What's in the box:
- 5 tech eras, Stone Age through Modern, Near Future, Space Opera, and Far Future. Run prehistoric survival, gritty near-future, classic space opera, or post-singularity weirdness off the same chassis.
- A real crafting and modding engine for weapons, armor, explosives, medicines, drones, robots, computers, ground/air vehicles, mechs, and starships. Examples of every device, plus the math to build thousands of variants. This is the headline feature.
- Cybernetics rules for transhuman characters.
- A creature-builder with 50 distinct traits for modifying existing threats or rolling your own aliens from scratch.
- 120,000+ words, manuscript complete. Not a stretch goal, not a roadmap, the book is done.
Status: 77% funded with 8 days to go. All-or-nothing campaign, deadline May 12.

If you're a GM who's bounced between three different sci-fi systems trying to find one that handles both bronze swords and antimatter torpedoes, this is squarely aimed at you. Happy to answer questions about what I've seen of it.
