At this point, the PC are probably close enough for the zelekhtut to find Eike but not quite close enough to get back.

I don't really expect it to survive, but it will get instructions to try and return. Not to attack fanatically until dead. So...an encounter in the night first

I'm assuming their PCs get those bonuses even with you going last in round one. Being flat-footed wouldn't matter for the first round, right?
