Maur watches the snake intently as he steps away. The animal keeps its eyes on him and hisses again but doesn't move to attack. While Maur isn't sure, he thinks he sees something move under the snake's skin. It could just be a trick of the light. Caerth moves into the room and orders everyone out. "Dim the light," he says to Quinn. "And step back." Everyone else moves away. The half-orc druid moves cautious towards the snake. He speaks with a strong tone of voice and makes sure the animal keeps it eyes on him. He is firm but with enough gentleness to let the snake know that he isn't going to hurt her. And, he can tell right away the snake is indeed female and very pregnant. The expecting snake mother relaxes enough to let the half-orc druid inspect her wounds. She rubs her head against his chest and uses her long tongue to taste the air around Caerth. Then, she lowers her head and closes her eyes. "She is hurt badly," Caerth says quietly. "I must heal her wounds.
