You see our skies out there? So calm, so quiet. It wasnt always so. See, I remember when the realms shattered. When a great calamity tore the world asunder. Wild magic ran rampant, tearing the fabric of reality to pieces.
But Avalor, thank Avalor. She survived. Our beautiful city rose out of the ashes of that terrible cataclysm. One last great kingdom standing between us and utter annihilation. A lone beacon to locals and Riftborn alike.
Things changed, definitely. Some would say for the better. Others for the worse. Some would blame the Riftborn for everything. I would not. If our people had not banded together with these strangers, Avalor as we know it wouldn't be the same strange, bustling place we know and love.
But those Rifts. They still tear open, right in the middle of our streets. Some people look into those Rifts and see naught but wealth and lost knowledge. Others see them and see a dark portent of what is to come. All I know is that Avalor needs Rifters. Avalor needs you."
