Looking for some good 1st-level to paragon campaign.

Sorry to write up rather a long story.

I have been considering to run Scales of War campaign on Dungeon magazine for players who played RHoD and then Ashardalon and Dragon-related modules until 21st-level in 3.5e. With new 1st-level PCs as 3 of 5 players are new to 4e.

After researching and asking questions on here and WotC community, I found that Scales of War is not so well related to RHoD and even dragons and followers of Tiamat appear only after late-paragon. And frankly speaking 1st one or two adventures are not so well-made, as they are created in the very early stage of 4e. So maybe I will run the latter part of this campaign as true sequel to the former 3.5e campaign, with converting former 3.5e PCs into 4e. Or maybe not.

Anyway, we are going to start new 4e campaign or at least a series of sessions which preferably from 1st-level, as the majority of members are new to 4e. But maybe full-adventure path is too long. We will roll up new PCs in this 15th.

Are there any good published (or web-published) shorter campaign which we can start from 1st-level to, say, some paragon level?

I've never actually played it, but I've heard that the War of the Burning Sky campaign (buyable through this website) is said to be very good. I'm not sure how long it is, but if it's good, you would probably be able to run at least the beginning of it.

Blackdirge is one of the best scenario writers, so any of the Chaos Scar stuff by him should great. I imagine the other Chaos Scar adventures might be pretty good too, but I can't speak about it in the same manner. Check it out, get a feel for it as a DM, see if it works for you.

War of the Burning sky by Enworld is excellent, but it runs into epic.

If it's roleplaying and not rollplaying you are after I would run it anyway, even if I was going to stop at level 15. ;)

Actually, I am already playing Chaos Scar adventures as a player, in another monthly session (yes, and they are very good, though maybe combat encounters are a little bit too tough for 4e beginners).

Unfortunately, I can't use the same series in this new campaign, as one of the player is the DM who is running that CS campaign.

Regarding War of the Burning sky, I am trying to gain subscription of EN world but having trouble on using PayPal (their support in Japan is terrible).
