Message: <blockquote data-quote="not_me" data-source="post: 2613207" data-attributes="member: 17085">Looks like I have some looking-up to do, thanks everyone.  And thanks Krypter for asking for non-Drow underdark.  Besides being, as is apparent, overdone/overused, it wouldn't gel with what comes next for my campaign needs.  I'll have to re-look in the Underdark book -- what I'm really looking for is just things to steal before the players get to the real spot, so I don't need an adventure per se, just encounters, terrain, obstacles, etc, for them to get to the part where they begin their descent (muahahahaha).  I think the Drow have a great public relations team.  They get all the spotlight.  I realize I could probably grab the maps from the Dungoneers Survival Guide and populate them, but I was hoping for something with a bit more flavour along the way, or at least some indication of what flavour to put in there, ie, what kind of encounters is appropriate or are common for the Underdark -- are there remnants of groups that leave behind certain dungeon-like worked areas, for example?  There are random tables in the Underdark book for the beasties, I guess.  Figures the area the players will be entering gets little mention in the Underdark book (to quote:  "Few accesses exist, so large portions of this domain remain unexplored.")  Though I guess that means I get to make it up!not_me</blockquote>
