Since some of you are putting honorable mentios, I’ll add d20 Modern to my list. That cover grabbed me. I loved the d20 system for modern more than for D&D. Did a great two player campaign with it. Both players had a primary character and a secondary one. Low level supers with a secret base under the gym, owned by one character, an ex olympic race champion.

Smallville. This Drama version of Cortex Plus did an amazing job of emulating storytelling where there's a main character but everyone else can have equal dramtic import
Mercenaries, Spies, & Private Eyes. I'm not even sure why, really. It's just cool - and simple.
Middle-Earth Role-Playing. Just for the maps alone, but also for providing a version of Rolemaster that seemed managable.
Wushu. Best system ever for PbP games (because it was designed to be!)
Truth & Justice. Best supers game I've ever played. A PDQ game.

Mercenaries, Spies, & Private Eyes. I'm not even sure why, really. It's just cool - and simple.

Chill 2e - I was a player, but everything felt so right. Crashed and burned because we weren't actually mature enough to handle the sort of literary stories we wanted to tell.
Gamma World 3e - Puppy love. Won't ever be able to recapture that feeling of a youthful crush.
Boot Hill 2e - One night stand.
Mouse Guard - One of those relationships where things get intense, but you quickly realize you were ignoring a lot of red flags and you are definitely not compatible.
GURPS - Caught me on the rebound in a time of grief and weakness. Proved abusive.

The Troubleshooters - Love the idea for the setting. I grew up reading the comics it was inspired by. The art is just perfect. Easy system (a modern take on BRP).

Fate Core - Simple idea. but so hard to find good aspects. I think Dresden Files and Atomic Robo are better games though.

Call of Cthulhu - Have had lots of fun with this one.

Good Society: a Jane Austen rpg - Love the idea. It is different, and very hackable.

Shadowrun - Setting only. the rules has always been crap.
