Malebranche now a demon

Apparently, you're right. Of course, the succubus is now a devil; archons now look surprisingly like elemental creatures; and the Abyss is now an inner plane. To say nothing about all those melee-happy bards who broke into the armory, did some push-ups, and became warlords. So I guess we shouldn't really be surprised.

They're trying to make demons and devils distinct from each other in ways more meaningful than an alignment tag. This is inevitably going to involve moving some of them from one category to the other. It's worth it, IMO.

It kind of strikes me as a typo as well, given that it otherwise fits the devil requirements (roughly humanoid, uses weapons).

I'm curious why the completely remade Troglodyte isn't raising more of a kerfuffle, though. Not that anybody seemed too offended when kobolds changed with every new edition...

I actually kind of like the green dragon concept art. Looks very...aerial predator to me. The old dragons looked like they flew because "Dragons fly!", while the new green seems somehow sleeker, born to whip between treetops at full flight while pursuing prey. EDIT: Just got a look at the colored ones, too. I likes.

Hell, I like the trogs too. Harder to cast them as kind of desperate slaves to their hunger when they're built like a brick privy, but I'll make do.
