I'll get my book tomorrow... is it ok for a Barbarian multiclass fighter to pick feats that have martial classes in general or fighter as requirement?

You qualify for feats that have Fighter as a prereq, but your power source is still primal, not martial, so you won't qualify for any that are for martial characters only.

You qualify if you multiclass into a martial class.

The pre-requisite is "any martial class" - not "martial power source" - the feats are associated with all martial classes.

PHB193 - "Class feats are also available to characters who have taken a multiclass feat in the class the feat is associated with."

This would be the correct interpretation--you can see the same language in some of the paragon paths in the FRPG. A fighter is a martial class, a multiclass fighter counts as a fighter for purposes of feats and paragon paths, ergo a multiclass fighter can take feats that require "any martial class."
