Spoilers Maul: Shadow Lord [spoilers]

So I’m not super familiar with Inquisitors and stuff, except for seeing them in the Kenobi show, but I’m surprised they’re more dangerous than an actual (ex) Sith Lord. The Sith say there can be only two, but these are basically Sith without the name, right?
Yeah, it seems like it depends on the individual Inquisitor. So far they seem to be recruited from Jedi or padawan who fell to the Dark side during the Jedi purge, and so aren’t dyed in the wool raised in the Dark side as some Sith are; many seem some combination of angry, desperate, afraid, and mind-altered. Some of those will be pretty average at fighting, some may be exceptional. And of course if two coordinate well that’s also a real problem.

Not all light-side force users are Jedi. You have to join the club!

Not all dark-side force users are Sith, not even those who serve the Sith. Being Sith is an exclusive club, only two can join.

Sidious and Vader train corrupted force-users as inquisitors, in the Sith tradition, but do not consider them Sith.

Of course, Sidious didn't treat Maul or Tyrranus any better, so the distinction often feels academic . . . .

Just watched eps 7 and 8. This show continues to impress!

Like, we know Maul will get out of this alive, and we know he’ll never make Sidious pay, but it’s still intriguing. And it’s just so beautiful to look at.

I’d say one of the only things I dislike about it is Richard Ayoade’s voice, because it is so instantly recognizable, it kind of takes me out of the immersion a bit. But I’m liking his character, who seems to be slowly having an awakening.

Me too. He's a great comedian. And he was good in The IT Crowd. But his acting range is pretty limited.

Just rewatched the last Tales of the Jedi episode, which shows the fate of “Crow” (aka the Eleventh Brother). IIRC it is his lightsaber crystals that Ahsoka purifies to make her white lightsabers. We don’t know his species, but when Ahsoka decapitates him, his head visibly deflates.

As for “Marrok”, he is officially the First Brother! It’s not been established how he died the first time, but we do know that he got zombified by Nightsister magick at some point only to be slain again in Ahsoka.

Fans of lightsaber duels should be quite satisfied with these last two episodes, if not the entire season. With the Inquisitors running around I figured Vader would show up in some way, but I was not sure he would take a direct hand in things. Too bad he had no dialog. Looking forward to season 2, though it looks like we won't have Walter Moura back. I wonder if there will be a time jump?
Edited to add: i will also miss Dennis Haysbert's Master Daki.
And I had a good laugh when Two-Boots said he was going to report the toxic waste and we see Lawson, Daki, and Maul all looking at him with that "Really?" look. :ROFLMAO:
