[sblock]Knowledge - Arcana check (DC hidden) +21 - Partial Success Spellcraft check (DC hidden) +17 - Failure Bardic Knoweldge check (DC varies) +30 - Extremely Obscure Success Spot check (DC 17) +18 - Success Ghost looks upon the impression, comparing it to his own coin, then pauses, looking vaguely out into the crowd. The amount of old archaic knowledge that has crossed his eyes or drifted past his ears over the years is usually too much to remember all at once, but there was something about the coin... Ghost's eyes drifted across the people in the crowd, eating snacks, playing with children, chatting inanely. What was that? The man, next to the ale cart, and the one near the gate, those three near the manor, they also sported impressions like Taran's. It was a cult thing, it had to be. Ghost remembered reading about the Lords of Metropolis years ago, the original rulers of the city. They were a secret brotherhood that could recognise each other at social gatherings through...the...marks...they...bore. That was it! The original rulers of the city were said to be able to access the very heart of Metropolis, but people never thought that the term was literal! The coin, the Heart...perhaps it all melded together somehow. If these people could access the Heart, if Zimmerman (and perhaps some of his friends) knew about this...could this have something to do with the Yellow Robes? And what did it all have to do with Stephanie?[/sblock]
