Modiphius' warehouse clearance sale includes hardcover games for just £5

Buy Dune, Star Trek, and more at rock bottom prices!
Modiphius is clearing space in its warehouse, with hundreds of products reduced with massive discounts--sometimes as low as £5 for a £50 hardcover TTRPG book such as Dune: Adventures in the Imperium (including collector's editions), Star Trek Adventures Player's Guide, or John Carter of Mars. There's also miniatures boxed sets and accessories for similar prices, including several different Fallout: Wasteland Warfare miniature sets, Star Trek Starfleet Deck Tiles, and various Dune dice sets. Overall, there's nearly 300 products on sale, many under £10, and many for just £5.

Modiphius has indicated that this stock will not be reprinted, and says that the clearance sale is to make space in its warehouse, but many are speculating that some of the company's many IP licenses may be coming to an end. The company's official statement said "Out with the old and in with the new! It’s that time of year, and we’re clearing out the ol’ warehouses to make room for fresh arrivals. That means over 300 select items just hit rock-bottom prices… Bear in mind that once we’re sold out, we will NOT be restocking, so don’t leave your favourites sitting in your cart for too long!"

The sale includes items from many of Modiphius' lines, including Star Trek, Dune, The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, John Carter of Mars, Dishonoured, and Stargate, along with boardgames like Lobotomy 2, Homeworld Fleet Command, and Escape from Stalingrad Z.

Some of the stock is not published by Modiphius, which often acts as a reseller for other publishers' products such as Mindjammer, Infinity, and Odyssey of the Dragonlords. The Marvel Multiverse Roleplaying Game, for example, is on sale for £27, about half it's normal price.

It's not just £5 books, though. There are some massive discounts on limited edition books like the Dune: Core Rulebook Imperial Limited Edition, which normally costs a whopping £550, and is on sale for £225.

Was this ever confirmed? I've only read this as a rumor or people assuming it was because of the similarities, but I've never seen any confirmation.
I'm trying to find where I read it but it was some comment without source so, no I don't think it was ever confirmed. The commenter sounded pretty sure about it but yeah it may be the usual rumor mill.

They didn’t explicitly mentioned the line is done, but they said the books on this sale won’t be reprinted, which includes Dune books. Also John Carter, Homeworld and Dishonored.

Unless they are planning to do a 2nd/Revised edition, it does look like the end of the line.
In regards to Dune… Maybe Modiphius has just adopted the “attitude of the knife”? 🤔🤷🏻

Don't have any experience with Modiphius but I am a sucker for a starter set so I got the Dune one. Shipping being what it is I went ahead and got the Core book and Gamemaster Kit, only added few more bucks to the shipping.

Isn't all the books, is some

I heard about a "series 2" that would be anounced this year, but it was "ages" ago

Same. A 80$ book, at a sale at 8$, becomes 60$ with the shipping. It's insane. I got some kettle and weights delivered a month ago for half that price.
I asked them to get some insight as I've seen this discussion on several places:

Thanks for your email.
We charge what it actually costs to ship products from our third party warehouse - unfortunately those have increased a lot over the last couple of years. Some companies have their own warehouse staff and absorb some of the shipping costs, we don’t due to the wildly fluctuating prices and we’d rather focus on publishing than also running an enormous warehouse. We’re selling to lots of retailers and we’d be happy for you to buy from them and not us if there’s a product you can’t get please let us know and we’ll encourage stores to buy them.

This gives me an excuse to buy the dune core book since I own the core book for the original Dune RPG. I’ve been trying to cut down on my collecting, but I’ll make an exception for Dune especially for six bucks.

The site tells me 234 products are on sale, and that 234 of them are out of stock. 🤷

I’ll try a PC instead of my iPad
Make sure you're browsing the right webstore for your region. US is modiphius.us, rest of world is modiphius.net. If you're in one and looking at the other, stock will show as out of stock. Quirk of how Modiphius has the webstores set up atm.

I’m guessing that’s to ensure any sales orders go through to the correct warehouse and are attributed to the correct corporate account.

Managing international stock obligations can be an absolute nightmare. 😱

I'd recently been considering getting the Dune Adventures in the Imperium CRB, already being a satisfied customer with Modiphius' 2d20 Star Trek Adventures. It still cost me $53 CDN after shipping despite the deep discount. Still, I was able to get the Atreides Collector's Edition for the same price as the standard and for $40 dollars less than it would cost me from any online game store in my country.

When I clicked the above link which is for the UK store, a web form popped up suggesting I instead go to the Modiphius' US store, because it's local - WTF!? I guess there was a time when an onlne US store might be considered more local for a CDN consumer, but no longer. I checked the price on both webstores and it cost me $5 less to get if from the UK.
So yeah, I'm one happy camper that I could buy it direct from the UK and at a better price! :)

Yeah, common sense would say that US was better for CA, but no longer :(
