More Swordmage to come?

I was reading over the Swordmage class in the FRPG when I stumbled upon something under the races description on page 25.

"Githyanki are also known to practice their own swordmage tradition, which is similiar to the shielding swordmage."

So I'm wondering if in either the Planar Handbook or PHBII if we might see another aspect of the Swordmage like they did with Dark Pact for Warlock in the FRPG. And how exactly is the Githyanki tradition similar? Also this lets us know that the Githyanki will probably have Swordmage as a preferred class.

Int and Con for the Githyanki then?

At a complete and utter guess a new swordmage build would be more likely to be in Arcane Power like the tempest fighter build is in Martial Power.

I suspect that it means that they have developed their own version of the same tradition. I don't think it refers to a unique build.

I also don't think that this is meant to refer to a real unqique stile, just that they basically use the same powers and call them by other names.

I am however dying to know what will be in this month's class act in Dragon Magazine. It it's like the wizard class act we can expect a new at-will as well as some new encounter and daily powers

While I don't see the statement in question as being evidence that a new path for the swordmage will definately be on it's way, I think the possibility of there being more is always there if they(Wotc team) can think of a concept that they can carry out.
