More wiggle room with Reincarnate spells

Reincarnate can be quite the risky spell. So risky, in fact, that a choosy PC may even decline the call from the other side if it means becoming a wolverine or somesuch.

One idea I came up with was to give the creature being raised a CHA check to alter the percentile as many points in either direction in order to obtain a more desirable new form. This would represent how well the character knows himself.

Alternatively, the check could be performed by the caster either via an alteration to the inherant spell or a feat s/he takes (seems awfully steep for a feat, though).

there is a true reincarnate spell (in Masters of the wild I believe?) that lets you roll twice on the reincarnation table and then you can choose which of the two rolls you want (or it was something like that)

I love this alternate idea. We have a fighter in our group that is on his second reincarnation. First he came back as a centuar (oh my god), and now as a boar. Actually, I feel that most of the possiblitlies on the chart are very good. Wolverine is freaking awesome for any fighter type classes.
