Multiclass Hunter's Quarry

Quick question regarding the Multiclass Ranger feat that lets you use Hunter's Quarry once per encounter. We've been playing this such that our Wizard with the feat can apply Quarry to an enemy, then keep doing quarry damage once per round until it is dead. Is this correct, or should he only get to roll the quarry damage once per encounter?

You apply Hunter's Quarry and it only lasts until the end of your next turn. There was an errata.

What Ryujin said - it was erratad.

So, basically, at most you can get in the extra damage twice.
Once on the round you activate it (if you activate it before attacking) and then on the next round, presuming you hit both times.
