Okay, so, a few things here:
1) Slaad curses are mutually exclusive according to the wording of the relevant actions. You can be implanted with an egg (red slaad) or contract chaos phage (blue slaad) but not both, so whichever your character caught first is the only one that affects them. It sounds like you got implanted first, but the wording of your post isn't totally clear on that.
2) Neither curse causes the target to be Incapacitated or does anything else that prevents normal participation in an adventure. In fact, being implanted with an egg is by default something that happens without your knowledge! So there's no game reason your character needs to wait out a session in sick bay.
3) Spells like Remove Curse and Greater Restoration ought to be pretty accessible for any character high enough level to be fighting slaadi on the Astral Plane. If they aren't available for setting or flavour reasons (maybe you all use hyposprays and medical tricorders instead of healing magic, idk) then that needs some buy-in from players, because a certain amount of magical healing is part of D&D's encounter balance.
4) If your DM is deciding this is happening for story reasons - which is not unreasonable from a verisimilitude angle, given the Star Trek trope of Weird Alien Disease of the Week - then they need to think a bit more carefully about sidelining a character like that. It's a poor choice of consequence for a fluffed Con save, or if it was always intended to be a storyline that followed on from fighting some slaadi, again that needs buy-in, or it needs to happen to an NPC, not your character.
In other words, your DM is making up rules (or doesn't understand the actual rules) to do something that makes the game not fun for you, so you need to talk to them about it, not find some clever in-game workaround. If the other characters need to go on a whole quest to "find a cure" (which suggests this isn't the standard slaad egg/chaos phage), then that's definitely something you don't do to a character without checking first.
