Corporate Piracy: The Horrors Within

We're going to start off with Sly Flourish, you can call him Mr. Lazy.
He has proven the Artificer class is missing and honestly that's completely just crazy.

They stole the lore of Lord Soth from James Lowder's Knight of the Black Rose,
The only thing they didn't do was directly copy his prose.

They didn't even bother to give Mr. Lowder credit,
This is a horror story worse than the D&D ones on Reddit.

When Senior Designer F. Wesley Schneider appeared on State of the Game,
His responses to the interviewer were such a terrible shame.

When asked if this was just a reprint of Van Richten's Guide,
There was nothing but falsehood that Schneider replied.

With sixty percent copied, the proof is on display,
Forcing every consumer to double up and repay.

Seven episodes in and it's been dominated by Crem de la Crem,
But the actual play is looking very slim.

Episode eight is tonight and it will be the finale,
And Ravenloft's Mists will finally get their tally.

The show's overlays, which were done in post,
Look like they were done by an inebriated ghost.

As an introduction to D&D, this very first season,
It looks like they completely forgot the reason.

For someone like me who's never played D&D in their life,
I had to watch reviews to understand the combat from Dreadmoor and his wife.

Well, that's all I've got for The Horrors Within,
Maybe next season, I'll have more to spin.

Have you used any of this book to run a game yet? Feels premature to write it off until one does that, in my opinion.

According to what they've posted, Sothfan hasn't played D&D and disdains the idea of playing it. Their poem is based on watching show about playing it and comments other people have made about the book on here.

Then why does she care whether the new book is a reprint of the Van Richten’s Guide. None of that has any bearing on her enjoyment or lack thereof of the show?

Your math is wrong. If it's only 60% copied, then consumers are not doubling up to repay... they are only repaying 60% up. The other 40% is standard paying. :P
