A suffusion of yellow
Been tinkering around with Mystic/Shaman type class (as yet unamed) and was considering giving them a power called 'Rush'
Now Rush is similar to Rage in that it increases a PC ability scores. However unlike Rage the PC can use Rush to increase an Ability of their choice (eg Bob the ? could use his Rush ability to increase Wisdom +2 and thus gain bonuses to Spot and Listen, He might then Rush Dexterity +2 and attempt to make a tumble attempt. He could also increase Con or Str (as per Rage)).
At higher levels I was thinking of increasing the Stat increase to +4 and then +6, and also allowing the Rush to be split (so he could use his +4 rush to gain Str +2 and Dex +2)
Questions
1. What do you think of the Ability?
2. What else would you give to this class (I was considering some kind of Pain Resistance (converts Damage to Subdual - modelling the swami that inserts steel needles into their flesh or walks on hot coals type thing and possiblya Speed of Thought type speed increase)
3. Any ideas for a name (that isn't too culture specific)
4. Any other comments?
