Precis Intermedia introduces Disposable Heroes(R) Statix Paper Miniatures. Each downloadable set consists of beautifully-illustrated, ready-to-print paper miniatures in three formats: A-Frame Stand-ups, Tri-Fold Stand-ups, and Flat Counters. And for those who go through armies, Statix sets give you just that--a filled sheet of each figure in each of the three formats, as well as numbering to keep track of duplicates. And if that weren't enough, each set is done in BOTH color and black & white.

Counters, A-Frames, Tri-Folds, Armies -- all in one download!

Unlike the single download for each Statix set, Precis Intermedia's Customizable Disposable Heroes can be downloaded through an online interface, specifying which figures and format (stand-ups or counters) are added to a PDF file, as well as whether or not they are labeled and/or numbered. In addition, entire pages of duplicate figures can be downloaded, making the creation of armies a breeze.

All of Precis Intermedia's current Customizable sets are slated for conversion to Statix sets. Four Fantasy Statix sets are now available, along with a bundled collection at a reduced price. Future Disposable Heroes releases will be made available as both Customizable and Statix sets, providing the choice of convenience or customizability.

The next generation of downloadable paper minis are here and getting even better -- affordable and customizable, you can't go wrong with Disposable Heroes. No other brand can offer the quality and flexibily of Disposable Heroes. Also look for Precis Intermedia's low-cost, plastic stand-up bases for better tabletop stability and to cut down on assembly times.

Just to clarify - if I puchased any of the 'new' fantasy statix sets, I would NOT have to register at your site and would just obtain a pdf of the product containing all the product's miniatures?

Thanks

I don't quite understand. It's the same amount of work to purchase these through our store - you create an account and make the purchase. The only difference is that the Statix sets are in one download, while the customizable sets give you the freedom to download any combination of figures in any minis format and with numbering and/or labeling and with the option of creating armies.

The model is great and offers vast flexibility in getting those exact miniatures when you want them, although it largely depends on how you intend to use the minis. If you only game online like I do, and create digital maps, I have no need for the registration model since I can just use the images in my own imaging programs to create the battlemaps I want to. Registering to do that just seemed like a clumsy way of going about doing what I wanted to do, but I'm sure it's great for other users.

What sets are you most interested in? The Haven: City of Violence and WWII Soldiers sets should also be available as Statix later today.

Just the fantasy ones for now. I was thinking of just picking up the bundle.

The Haven: City of Violence(TM) set has been rereleased for those interested. This set includes mostly armed modern characters and is designed for use with LPJ's Haven: City of Violence game or just about any other modern game that's somewhat on the violent side ;)
