New Paragon-Tier Dark Sun Monsters

Hero
Hey, all! I'm running a Dark Sun game (and have been basically since it came out) with somewhat slowed leveling. Nevertheless, everyone's 13th level now (soon 14th) and they've decided to explore the ruins of Giustenal. So, I'm adapting the magnificent City by the Silt Sea. This has ... many ... new monsters, so I've been making some. I wanted to share!

Please feel free to critique; I love feedback!

First... Mostly this is for travel to the ruins, the ruins above and the Blasted Spire.

(I'm not thrilled with the Pit Snatcher, but with sufficiently scary tar pits, they do their job.)

Dray Templars

And now for the Dray templars of Dregoth. At the moment, they have no breath weapons. I may change that, but I felt that they were complex enough already... The idea here is a group of monsters that cooperate very well through shared Curses, sorta Templar-like.

My PCs visited Giustenal at a much lower level, so my monsters are ... lower-level. I made kalin riders (as soldiers), and I'd like to see yours. I guess your "3rd scale" templars are pretty similar, but there's no kalin involved.

For my campaign I've split first and second generation dray. The first are essentially dragonborn, and were banned until the PCs rescued them. The second generation don't have a breath weapon.

I'm going a bit further with the dray... I'm going to make the surface dragonborn (who they've met) a degeneration of the first-generation dray. I'm keeping them distinct - for now. :)

I don't have kalin riders statted out yet! I'll post them when I do.

As promised to (Psi)SeveredHead ... Kalin Riders...

These are clumsy and I'm not 100% happy with them. My goal was "creatures who are one with their mounts, yet both are separate creatures." I decided to stat them up as a funny kind of Elite because that's how I see them operating. After seeing the result, I might have been better off leaving them as two creatures... I am willing to give them a go, however.

The weird, snarly Trait is a clumsy way of saying, "The mount and rider get to choose who gets hit by anything that would only normally hit one of them."

(I also posted my take on the Dark Naga here)

The Protector Wight... Servant of a forgotten god, now guarding its ancient temple against trespassers. This was allied with several Raaig Soulflames. They turned out to be more of a challenge than this guy - the Hunter forced him into ranged attacks, and bogarted his Mark ability.

An interesting take. I'll try those when my PCs are paragon (they're currently 8th).
