Nimble expansion

I'm currently reading through the Nimblenomicon and I'm kind of obsessed. Before learning about Nimble, I had been drifting more towards a more narrative solo / GM-less games, but now I'm actually super excited for Nimble.

I like the simple 3-action economy, and I find Nimble's classes quite interesting, especially in comparison to their DND 5e counterparts. That said, the player armor rules are kind of weird, and I really dislike how the new monster armor works (-5 / -10 to incoming damage).

I'm hoping to introduce this to my group with a one-shot. If it goes well, I'll probably get the books.

This feels closer to 4th Edition to me, or at least closer to what 4e could have been if it were continued (or allowed) to be developed and evolved naturally.

That being said, I do like what I see. I don't mind that it is compatible with 5e, but that has no personal appeal or value to me. I would be more interested in how it holds up as a complete system on its own. But frankly (and realistically), I would just use this as a blueprint to make the version of D&D game I really wanted, the one 4e came very close to becoming.
