I've been playing WEGS 101 Old Skool at a couple of local conventions and would like to try to get a once a month campaign going. I live in the Montclair area but will locate the game depending on where the players are. Same thing for the night of the game. I'm leaning towards Sunday night, but will schedule the game based on the other players.
If you've never heard of or played WEGS don't worry. It is a simple and quick sword and sorcery game. Every Ark (character) has a pile of poker chips (spoints) that they can use to affect dice rolls in the game. (At their most basic, spoints are +10% on a roll, but they really are much much more than that.) The game is fast and furious and can turn on a single roll of the dice. If you miss the days when all you needed to game was a character sheet (Ark Kard in WEGS) and some dice, and the days when death and glory lurked around every corner then this is the game for you!
