Northern Crown

There was a few threads on this game before the boards went down so I figured I'd start one up again :)

Doug, when are we going to see something new for NC? :)

Anyone running a campaign in NC? I had a few ideas but haven't gotten one off the ground yet. I found a story in the newspaper about a French ship lost in the Great Lakes and was developing an adventure based around that and I was modifying an adventure from Dungeon set in a swamp for NC and setting it in Spanish Florida involving the Creek indians, lizardmen and an undead spellcaster as the main bad guy.

I'm not running NC, but there is a weekly game going @ the Source in Falcon Heights, MN.

I see them there sometimes on sundays when I'm there.

I'm writing as fast as I can!

Seriously, the second issue of Franklyn's Almanack (the NC support PDF zine from Adamant Entertainment) is coming out any day now. I turned it in to Gareth a couple of weeks ago. It contains an article on Le Dragon Rouge by Brian Gute and a full-length adventure by me called The Onondaga Mission. This event-based adventure is for 4th-6th level characters and centers around a Huron attack against the Five Nations capital.

I continue to work on Spectral Boston, the supernatural horror setting-within-a-setting for Northern Crown. It will be quite grim and spooky, as befits the witches-versus-Puritans theme. It's structured around a mega-adventure that takes a group of PCs from about 4th to 14th level, so you can play the book as a campaign or simply use it as reference for your own adventures.

I'm not sure how into Northern Crown I am, but that sounds really tempting. I look forward to having a look at it!

The noise you hear is me uttering a happy, happy sigh. :D
