In a tournament of NPC sword masters, who wins? 1:1 duels in bare arena.
Using DMG creation rules for classed NPCs levels 1-5
no feats, no magic items - aside from flat +1 bonus.
Standard ability array + racial mods.
1 atwill/encounter/daily/utility.
Would any sword wielding humanoid of equiv level do better?
assume 3 fights the first day, and 2-3 the second.
monsters would only heal surge +10, NPC classes could heal by surges between fights.
contender builds:
battlerager fighter(insperational strike & villians menace),
Barbarian (recuperating strike and Bloodtail rage),
ranger TWF
Encounter Powers seemed to only make a slight difference, but a lot of dailies could swing a fight.
