O.D.I.N. (Occult Dynamics Intelligence Network) is a tabletop RPG about agents of an organisation that officially does not exist and has kept the rifts in reality closed for decades. You play a cell of three to six agents: psions, thaumaturges, soldiers, spies, scientists and investigators.

The dice are d6 only, in two colours. White dice come from the attribute and succeed on 5 or 6. Coloured dice come from the skill and succeed on 4, 5 or 6. So training is more reliable than raw talent, and without the skill you roll white dice only.

Each class also pays its own price on top of wounds, strain and trauma. Psions build up Resonance, thaumaturges hear the crystals whisper, agents slowly fade into their cover identities.

Twenty-three books in English, all free and ad-free, no sign-up. The place to start is the Quickstart: four pregens and a mission for one evening. The newest book is Foreign Bodies, a twelve-mission campaign for the GM. There is also The Registry with 105 creatures, The Map Room with 160 maps, a browser character generator, and play tables for Foundry VTT, Owlbear Rodeo, Let's Role and a browser table that needs no account.

From 16 October to 15 November there is a free jam on itch.io where anyone can write their own mission: O.D.I.N. Field File Jam

Quick update, a few things at once.

O.D.I.N. now has its own table in the browser. No account, nothing to install, made for computer and tablet. The Grey Files come ready set up, the Map Room maps arrive at scale, walls cast shadows, and both dice colours are rolled and counted for you. The GM can whisper to one agent or hand a single player a handout. Markers such as Trauma or Unconscious sit on the token, and in combat hit points drop on their own, with silver, salt and iron depending on the enemy. If someone drops out, the GM hands their agent to another player.

Two more platforms, both free. On Realm VTT there is the ruleset with an agent sheet that counts successes for you, 347 enemies with tokens and nine modules per language. Quest Portal has the template "O.D.I.N. Agent File".

Volume 24 is Foreign Bodies: twelve missions from February to August 2026, the prequel to The Door. And for Halloween there is Hop-tu-Naa, built quick and dirty, one mission for one evening with the four Quickstart agents.
