hi-

Man I feel old, all my players are under 30 and three of them are in college, ya I tried recruiting them for the Army, but they said no. Anyway they are all great players and I am proud to be their DM. Still, I dont think anybody over 40 plays D&D anymore :(

So how many DM's are older then their players?

Oh ya number one house rule, you forget your character and you will be put into the front lean and rest position until I am tired :D

I'm the youngest in my group!! :D

No one in my crowd over 40 just yet, I game with all 30 somethings. I don't think anyone in the current games DMing is the oldest.

Youngest in my gaming group and have been for the last five years, but before that I was the top of the age-chain.

Of course, like Crothian, most of the group is still under thirty. I don't see many of them giving up gaming simply because the odemeter has clicked over though.

well as of right now, im 19, everyone in my group is 17-20, and theres about.... 9 of us. not everyone plays every time, we have 3 or 4 floating groups.

but we used to play with our current DMs uncle, i believe he is around 40 years old, so he was obviously older than us. im still glad he introduced us all to the game. hes the kind of DM that doesnt really follow rules, he liked making up rolls for us to make and do everything based on dramatic effect, was really a blast.

Ha ha-

Thats the way it was done back in the old 1E days, DM'ing by the seat of your pants.
