old sci fi monsters

anyone have any ideas for converting these old Traveller creatures to d20?

Tree Kraken-Looks like an evil land dwelling octopus, one meter tall.
Sea Bear-Imagine a vicious looking biped with 6 arms & just over a meter tall.
Crested Jabberwock-Picture a horse-sized wingless dragon.
Bloodvark-Looks like a large canine with an oversized armored head, front legs look as if the creature was once a biped.
Dagshark-Picture a flying manta ray with a 6-meter wingspan. It’s mouth is twice bisected, creating four equal parts coming together when the mouth is closed.
Grass Dog- Best described as a long-tailed dog with a Chinese dragon’s head.
Gratheudom- Large heavily armored mammalian body. The head and tail both sport impressive armor. Must be 6 meter long and nearly 2 meters at the shoulder.
Kian- Reminiscent of the two-legged riding beast used by Luke on Hoth, but without the tusks.
Bush Runner-One meter tall raptor.

You could probably use an octopus and drop its swim speed, ink cloud, and jet abilities. Maybe replace with a climb speed.

A girallon with an extra set of arms?

If you have Draconomicon, the spiked felldrake would probably be close.

Maybe use the Deinonychus, but make the bite the primary (and only) attack.

You could use the terlen from the Fiend Folio and just describe it differently. Alternately, use the manta ray stats, give it a fly speed of 30 ft (average) and a bite attack that deals 1d8 or more damage.

Use the riding dog's stats as a baseline, increase the bite damage and possibly some of the ability scores.

Advance a dire tiger to Huge, increase natural armor by +5, drop pounce and rake, maybe give it DR 5/-.

Any Large bipedal dinosaur or flightless bird would probably work.

Is this a raptor in the dinosaur sense, or the bird sense?

Triffid - From the John Wyndham book. A three-legged carnivorous plant with a deadly whiplash stinger on the top.

AD&D stats for triffids actually appeared in Dragon #53 (p58), so they should be game for a 3.5 update .
